Our Museum is run by a team of dedicated volunteers and funded through entry fees, donations and membership.  We would also like to thank our funders who include: Matamata-Piako District Council; Trust Waikato; Pub Charity Limited; Grassroots Trust Limited (Te Aroha); Te Papa Tongarewa Helping Hands Grant, Te Paerangi; Rotary International; and The Roy and Enid Nicol Trust.

Become a member of the Museum and enjoy free entry and a quarterly newsletter and know that you are helping to support this important treasure which preserves and informs Te Aroha's rich and interesting past for future generations.

     Individual membership  $10
     Family membership  $15

Membership fees are due annually and can be paid on-line.  Please use our Contact page or speak to staff at the Museum if you wish to become a member.

Donations

If you would like to make a donation to the Museum, you may do so at the Museum or on-line, use our Contact page to get in touch.  Donations are very important to the Museum and are always very gratefully received.

Genealogy and History enquiries

The Museum can help with local genealogy or history enquiries.  Staff can undertake this research for a modest fee or you can enquire about doing your own research in the Eunice Cullen Library and reference room.  Historic photos from the archives can also be purchased for a modest fee.  Use our Contact page to get in touch about this or come and see us at the Museum.

11am to 4pm starts Labour weekend

Winter season
12noon to 3pm starts Easter weekend

Open every day except Good Friday and Christmas Day, other times by appointment

ACCESSIBILITY

The Museum is wheelchair accessible.  Vehicle access to the front door can be made by arrangement.

Unfortunately, we are not accepting group bookings at this time.
